Stephanie's Baby Shower

My BIL couldn't stop taking movies and photos. I'm sure the whole event was well documented.

There aren't many gifts surrounding my Sister because we were afraid it was going to rain. As soon as something was opened, we took it back in the house. And we only had a few gifts in queue.

My niece was such a great help, with opening and transporting gifts. Yet she still had time to pose for an impromptu photo.

My sister showing the guests my summer project.

Nice Cake, eh? It had about an inch of frosting on top, and a layer of pudding inside. Very delicious!

This is a better photo of the quilt I put together last summer for my parent's 40th wedding anniversary. My sister compiled the photos and transfered them onto fabric for me.

The day after the shower we took a trip into Manhattan. Here we are posing in front of the Statue of Liberty. (You can see it off in the distance between Mrs. Perry and Me).

Laura's Baby Shower

This is my first attempt at a blog, so I welcome your input and thank you for visiting. I was trying to find an easy way to share my shower pics with everyone and realized that Yahoo Photos was not going to cut it. It seems that half the time I would try to access it to load pictures it was unavailable. Hopefully this will work better and other people, besides me will be able to see the pictures. The shower was wonderful. I cannot thank Becky enough for all the planning and hard work she put into the event. Everything was beautiful, the food was delicious. And I discovered a new cocktail (thanks Mrs Perry for introducing me to the "Manhattan"). I figured I was in the vicinity of Manhattan, I may as well try their drink :-) The day after the shower we went into Manhattan and then out to the tip of Long Island to a town called Greenport. Good times!
